Tony is the founder of Million Metre Challenge and has made it his mission to get more people
involved in the challenge following the personal benefits he gained when completing 1,000,000m on
his Concept2 rowing machine back in 2017. Working within the IT industry and with three young girls,
Tony is well aware of the strain of life which, if not managed can have a lasting impact. Having
personally benefited from the challenge, Tony is on a mission to get 1,000,000 people taking part;
whether individually, through school projects or colleagues wanting to take on a new challenge
together.
In the background, Tony has a sudden death heart condition (Long QT Syndrome) and pacemaker implant
which in his own words gives him that ‘little fire’ to push forward.
